Laissez-moi le plaisir de dévoiler mon
nouveau projet ! Je vous présente Dames,
un projet d’une durée d’un an dans lequel je publierai deux illustrations par
semaine, les mardi et jeudi, sur mon blog. Au bout de l’année, avec plus d’une
centaine illustrations sous la main, je ferai imprimer le tout dans un livre,
qui sera me tout premier ‘’art book’’
!
Le défi est grand, mais excitant! C’est la
première fois que je me lance dans un projet de ce genre et j’espère bien
apprendre et grandir de cette expérience ! Vos commentaires seront les
bienvenue tout au long du projet !
Le nom Dames est un clin d’œil au film du
même nom de Ray Enright et Busby Berkeley. Une comédie musicale sortie dans les
années 30. Un chef d’œuvre pour les chorégraphies imaginatives de Berkeley !

Please, let me introduce my new project; Dames ! This will be a one year project
where I’ll post two illustrations a week, on Tuesday and Thursday, on my blog.
At the end of the year, with more than a hundred illustrations, I’ll make a
book out of it, which will be my really first art book !
This is a big challenge, but a good
motivation ! It’s the first time I’m doing such a project and I hope to learn a
lot from it ! Your comments will be the most welcome all along the way !
The name Dames is an homage to the movie of
the same title directed by Ray Enright and Busby Berkeley in the mid 30’s. This
musical was a master piece for the gorgeous choregraphy created by Berkeley !
